Charles Levinsohn is a writer, music lover, and beach walker. He was formerly a fisherman in Israel, a farmer in Kentucky, a carpenter, a salesman, and a poker player. As a rambler and a gambler, he recognized the fleeting nature of wins and losses.
His fascination with the relentless passing of time is a recurring theme throughout his work. Some of his literary efforts include an anthology of essays entitled Levinsohn Abides, a short story called Ghost Town, a novella entitled Regret, and a trilogy called The First Cousin of My First Cousin. He lives in Monmouth Beach, New Jersey.
